Public building located in Saint Orens, a suburb of Toulouse (France).
A unique façade design based on 4 mm thick aluminium blades, combining folding-sliding systems and fixed elements.
It is an outer skin that extends over 3 storeys on the facade as well as on the side gables, with more than 150 panels of approximately 600 mm x 3,000 mm, comprising fixed and folding elements.
Uniqueness:
The spirit of the façade aims to represent, through the different finishes, sizes and arrangements of the slats, the colours of each season of the year.
Maximum customisation:
To achieve this, 9 different sizes of blades were combined. Each blade size was lacquered in 9 different colours and arranged on the panels without following any pattern of position or distance between them.
This project is unique, as there is no other panel with the same arrangement of blades, neither in size, nor in colour, nor in spacing between them. You can go and see for yourself!
The detail proposed by the architect was followed with care and attention and was a challenge for our technical team, especially in the production phase.
System: sliding folding shutters made of lacquered aluminium blades and fixed lacquered aluminium sunbreakers.
